                                    Carlo Collodi, born Carlo Lorenzini on November 24, 1826, in Florence, Italy, was an Italian writer and journalist best known for creating Pinocchio. Coming from a humble background, he received an education thanks to his parents%u2019 work for noble families. Initially working as a journalist, he founded the newspaper Il Lampione and wrote satirical pieces, supporting Italy%u2019s unification. Later, he turned to children%u2019s literature, and in 1881, he published The Adventures of Pinocchio as a serial, which became a book in 1883. The story of the wooden puppet who wished to be a real boy became a timeless classic. Collodi passed away on October 26, 1890, in Florence, without seeing the full worldwide success of his work. Today, Pinocchio remains one of the most famous children%u2019s stories, inspiring countless adaptations and teaching valuable life lessons.Carlo Collodi
